Comparative Inquiry and Analysis of Global Economy
For many years, scholars and researchers examined international relations from divergent
views. In recent years, the development of the International Political Economy (IPE) has
changed the perceptions and focus in this critical aspect of life. IPE is one of the highly
developing fields of the social sciences that endeavors to understand the global or international
challenges while employing eclectic and interdisciplinary sets of theoretical viewpoints and
analytical tools. The purpose of this paper is to develop a comparative inquiry and analysis of
these theories and analytical tools. As such, this paper compares and contrasts different ideas on
international relations. It is noteworthy that IPE concerns the analysis of international relations,
politics, and economics. In light of this, this paper examines the weaknesses and strengths of the
different theories and types of analysis. While different countries of the world may have
differences in their struggle for power or balance of power, the economic stability of a country
influences the country’s foreign policy and the possible emergence of conflicts.

The literature reveals that International Political Economy employs different theories and
